The Ring Nebula, about 9 magnitude , is located in the constellation Lyra And a popular target for amateur astronomers.
In the center of the nebula is a 15-magnitude star, the remnants of the central layers of a red giant.
The star is actually a white dwarf that is about the size of a planet.
At the end of the stage, the red giant of the star has left its outer layers in space.
These layers eventually formed the planetary nebula. The central parts of the red giant have condensed and turned into white dwarfs
Examining the nebula’s fate provides a glimpse into the death of the sun in another 6 billion years.
The central part of the nebula radiates only in the ultraviolet region, making it appear dark in visible light.
The inner part of the ring is greenish due to ionized oxygen and nitrogen radiation.
The predominant color on the outside of the ring is red, which is due to the presence of hydrogen in that area

سحابی حلقه
سحابی حلقه با قدر حدود 9 در صورت فلکی شلیاق قرار دارد
و یک هدف محبوب برای منجمان آماتور است
در مرکز سحابی ستاره ای از قدر ۱۵ وجود دارد که باقی مانده ای از لایه های مرکزی یک غول سرخ است
این ستاره در واقع یک کوتوله سفید است که ابعادی در حدود سیارات دارد
در پایان مرحله غول سرخ ستاره، لایه های خارجی خود را در فضا رها کرده است
این لایه ها در نهایت تشکیل دهنده سحابی سیاره نما بوده اند. بخش های مرکزی غول سرخ متراکم شده و به کوتوله سفید تبدیل شده است
بررسی سرنوشت سحابی حلقه دیدی نسبت به مرگ خورشید در ۶ میلیارد سال دیگر ارائه می کند
بخش مرکزی سحابی فقط در ناحیه فرابنفش تابش می کند و به همین دلیل درنور مرئی تاریک به نظر می رسد. بخش داخلی حلقه متمایل به سبز است که دلیل آن تابش های اکسیژن ونیتروژن یونیزه است
رنگ غالب در بخش خارجی حلقه، قرمز است که به خاطر وجود هیدروژن در آن ناحیه است
